The town of Oyster Bay unveiled the new 9/11 Walls of Honor in memory of residents tho died from 9/11-related cancer and illnesses to its Sept. 11 memorial at Tobay Beach in Massapequa.

The town held an unveiling ceremony Thursday, Sept. 5 which was attended by 600 people, including family and friends of victims whose names inscribed on the Walls of Honor were read aloud.

The Town’s 9/11 Memorial at the site is inscribed with the names of residents lost on September 11, 2001. 

It features a steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center. 

The memorial is on the bayside at Tobay Beach.
